Daily Quest: {Minecraft's Diamond Sword - Man at Arms} Random Youtube Videos
I thought I'd post this for those who haven't seen this channel's videos:
http://www.youtube.com/user/AweMeChannel
In this channel you will find many other weapons from TV shows to Video Games being recreated by a professional blacksmith. He recreates it to the point where it can be used as an actual weapon, even Batman's Batarangs and Kingdom Hearts' Sora Keyblade.
Enjoy!

Side Quest 003: {Infinite Ryvius} Gather Ideas and Inspiration from Anime - In Progress
Infinite Ryvius (Mugen no Ryvius)
The anime Infinite Ryvius revolves around a ship called Ryvius, which was discovered due to various events, but we'll skip to the main plot.
The main plot is that there are hundreds of children who are aged 18 or younger who are attempting to survive in a unknown space vehicle while being attacked by enemies.
The anime attempts to portray how children of different abilities would emotionally feel and react to various issues. Infinite Ryvius does this in a realistic way with little to no illogical miracles that appear out of nowhere.
The main thing I want to gather from this anime is to find out in more detail on how and why the characters turned out to what they are, as this would greatly influence my ability to design characters and how they would interact with each other.
This is a very original anime and you should watch it! It's a bit old, but if you like character development and story over animation quality, you'll enjoy it! I give it a 9/10
Main Quest 001: Pick your poison - In Progress
What should I use to make games?
For a while now, I've been wondering what programming language or game engine I should learn to use, I have a basic understanding of code and have been trying out Python and Unity.
I have heard that Python is an easier language to learn and that Unity is a good engine, but I have just recently found out that the Oculus Rift is only compatible with Unity Pro and not the free version.
I am thinking of learning how to use UDK to get a better understanding on how games are created then proceed to learn a programming language to create a game from scratch, most likely C++.

Daily Quest: Daily Happenings
Sound Problems
So I tried rolling back my sound drivers to make my microphone work again, instead it f**cked up my sound, even after attempting to reinstall drivers and I even tried system restore and that's f**cked up too.
Now I'm going to be reformatting my computer thus slowing my progress further =/
Luckily I have most of my files on my hard drives somewhere.

Side Quest 002: {"Shingeki no Kyojin" aka Attack of the Titans} Recommend Anime to the Internets - In Progress
Shingeki no Kyojin
FIRST EPISODE OUT. WATCHED IT. FKINGAWESOMESAUCE.
Okay, maybe I'm just a little hyped up about this Anime, or just easily amazed. Here I was thinking Bakuman and Zetusen no Tempest were going to be the best anime of the year for me, although they probably are for their genres.
But this new Anime for this season came out of nowhere (for me at least).
At first I thought this was going to be a generic action Anime with flashy effects and stuff BUT I was fortunately mistaken and drove me to a sensation similar to what I felt when I watched the Berserk Anime series (not the movies), they have very similar sort of themes and the art style looked to be influenced by Berserk itself.
Not only this but the Director, Araki Tetsurou directed Death Note, Guilty Crown and Highschool of the Dead some of my favourite Anime of all time. In addition Kyoji Asano, the Character Designer of Shingeki no Kyojin, worked on Guilty Crown, Psycho-Pass and Sengoku Basara.
The Anime also reminded me of Lost Planet, How?
Not the snow. But groups of people working cooperatively in order to take down beings of greater scale despite their size. Also they have grapple-hook-winch thingies.
Whether or not you read any of this, is not the point, what I'm trying to say is..
WATCH IT NOW.

Side Quest 001: {Ready Player One by Ernest Cline} Gather Inspiration & knowledge from books - In Progress
The book Ready Player One is just simply amazing, it has a perfect balance of friendship, video game references, love and tragedies.
This is also the first fictional book that I personally picked up and read (and hoping to re-read) in years.
It completely immersed me in it's fictional world within a fictional world, with a theme I like and which is scarily a possibility that might happen to us in the future, which made the book more immersive and believable.
It also directly referenced a lot (and I mean A LOT) of games and movies which made me feel more relateable to the main character.
There is soo much I like about this book, that I can't put into words, so I just recommend to read the book.
